We begin this day with the heaviest hearts, so saddened to have to share this news. Our gallant, beloved Better Talk Now was euthanized late last evening at New Bolton Center. Complications from intestinal surgery had become too much to overcome. Blackie came to Fair Hill as a 3-year-old in 2002 and never left us.

Irish Defence

Irish War Cry’s big sister Irish Defence won her third race out of five starts today at Monmouth.  She broke on top, commanded quite a lead and won comfortably by five lengths.  Hope Jones, Isabelle de Tomaso’s sister was there to greet her and congratulations again for a ‘child’ of Irish Sovereign.
