Craig Bennett’s Merry Fox Stud had a banner day at Delaware Park when homebred Guilty Twelve stuck her head down at the wire to win the Grade 3 Robert G. Dick Memorial. The 5-year-old daughter of Giant’s Causeway – Arkadina (IRE) (by Danehill) got up in the last strides to best favorite Zipessa by a nose.Deftly ridden by Chris DeCarlo, Guilty Twelve returned $22.40 – $6.20 – $4.00 to her backers. This was her fourth career win from ten lifetime starts, bringing her total earnings to $263,806.
