Little Lottie

She’s little but she’s tough – and maneuverable!  Yesterday’s chart read:  LOTTIE sat reserved in the two path to the quarter pole, picked up interest angling to the outside heading for the stretch, altered course into path six from upper to midstretch, closed in, altered course back towards the inside in deep stretch, influenced no doubt by the two wayward front runners a short distance up ahead, then continuing onward with her strong kick, zoomed by them with a couple of jumps to spare before the finish line.

Seems she might have run a little further than the others and still won.   This is the first time she’d run 1 3/8 miles and seemed to enjoy herself.  Congratulations to owner and breeder Jack Swain who had her mother, Stakes winning Apple Charlotte in training with Graham too.
