Her prep for the Breeders Cup went rather well today at Woodbine when she won the Grade 2 Canadian Stakes.  Ridden thoughtfully as usual by Junior Alverado she didn’t have the best draw in the number one position but he rode her patiently and pushed ‘go’ at the right time!  Congratulations to owners and breeders Gestuet Faehrhof.

A couple of races later Messi was very unlucky not to win the Grade 1 Northern Dancer after being blocked briefly when trying to make his run.  Very proud of him too.
