Shining Star

He’s one of those horses that everyone in the barn loves. Shine Bright earned his first tick in the win column this afternoon at Laurel Park. With Ashley Castrenze aboard, the flashy 3-year-old son of Gemologist “rated kindly” throughout and then took the lead within the last sixty yards of the 6 furlong contest to finish 1 3/4 lengths ahead of Sensational Notion. Congratulations to West Point Thoroughbreds on this popular win.
