Joseph Shields’ homebred Bull Hole was well placed on the inside under jockey Jeremy Rose through a half-mile before swinging out four wide and driving to a nose victory in his turf debut. In his previous start on May 5, the colt finished second in a one mile, 70-yard maiden special weight race on the turf at Delaware Park.
Bull Hole is the first starter out of the stakes-placed winning Wagon Limit mare Quail Run.
