More Black Type for Bipartisanship (GB)

The last time BIPARTISANSHIP (GB) faced the starters, she was a close third in Pimlico’s Gallorette Stakes-G3 on Preakness Day. Today she travelled up to Parx Racing for their PTHA President’s Cup Stakes.

With Jevian Toledo in the saddle, the 5-year-old daughter of Bated Breath (GB) faced six rivals going 1 1/16 miles on the turf. Down on the rail in the back of the pack on the backstretch, track announcer Jessica Paquette rightly called that “Bipartisanship (GB) really has nowhere else to go” as the field approached the final turn. Toledo swung wide, and as soon as she saw daylight, Bipartisanship (GB) shifted gears and absolutely flew down the stretch, winning by 2 1/4 lengths.

This was the mare’s fourth career and third stakes win. She captured Gulfstream Park’s Tropical Park Oaks on December 26, 2021. Eleven months later on the West Coast, she won the Kathryn Crosby Stakes at Del Mar on November 12, 2022.

Bred in England by Ebonos Limited, Bipartisanship (GB) is out of the Oasis Dream (GB) mare Dream Wild (GB). With her distinctive facial markings, she’s easily recognizable and has definitely achieved fan favorite status in the barn since coming to us from Ireland in August 2021. She won today for owners As One Racing, LLC, CMNWLTH and Edgar Harty. Congratulations to all!
