She won the Red Carpet Stakes at Penn National this evening.  I was surprised when I looked at the entries and saw who was shipping in for the race – it might as well have been run at Saratoga!  It was a pretty impressive win as she was behind during a slow pace and ran by them easily in the stretch, as if they had been speeding.  I don’t think Sheldon even picked his stick up, she took off by herself!  I was speaking to Jack Swain her owner on the phone this morning and told him I could see her from my office.  He asked what she was doing and I was amazed actually, she was sleeping, at 10am in the morning!  I suppose she was resting before her big race!  Many congratulations to Jack Swain who bred her too.{jcomments on}
