won her allowance race at Gulfstream, stepping up from her recent maiden win.  I didn’t watch the race but reading the chart it appears she had a few traffic problems but when she got past those she was on her way to leaving them behind!  Many congratulations to Jack Swain, Jr.

Cherokee Artist’s move from Santa Anita to Palm Meadows last week to run in the Canadian Turf Stakes (Grade III) almost paid off for him too as he was a fast closing second, only to be beaten a head.  Mr. Robinson was there to watch his runner and I’m sure he was thrilled with his performance, especially as the winner was second behind the great Goldikova in his last race in the Breeders Cup Turf!
