Banner Day

It’s been a great afternoon for Graham and the rest of Team Herringswell with four winners on the day.

At Pimlico, Qualify broke his maiden by an eye-popping 8 3/4 lengths under a masterful ride by Erick Rodriguez.  The striking son of Medaglia D’Oro is owned by Dark Hollow Farm, Arnold Davidov and David Schwaber.

Our triple header at Keeneland began with Masatake Iida’s Otokogi winning a photo over Irish Ninja in a 6 1/2f maiden special weight on the Polytrack.  In the next race, Draw Two pulled away in the stretch to win his 1 1/2 mile route on the turf.  Dennis Narlinger owns the 4-year-old gray colt by Macho Uno.

In the card’s feature race, the Grade 3 $100,000 Appalachian Stakes, Sagamore Farm’s homebred filly Daring Dancer (Empire Maker – Vienna Affair [GB] by Red Ransom) remained undefeated when she and Alan Garcia skillfully threaded through rivals in the stretch and kicked on for the win.

Congratulations to all of the connections of our four stars today!
