Bass Rock came in to us almost a year ago and has taken quite a while to come to hand, running just one time last year, but Mr. Murray is thankfully one of our many patient owners.  It paid off like this – BASS ROCK quickly went clear, set a rated pace off the inside, opened up without much asking after a half mile, held a lengthy lead under hand urging past the furlong grounds, drifted in on while racing on his left lead, switched to his correct lead very late and was geared down at the wire.   The winning margin was five lengths!  Many congratulations to Mr. Murray and Namcook Stables.
