Well, Lucky Chappy was a little sluggish out of the gate even by European standards but it was a tough race and he did his best. He finished 7th, just out of the money – urgh! None of the American horses hit the board so it wasn’t easy for any of them. I missed seeing Animal Kingdom in the big race and I could see him powering down the stretch.
