Robert LaPenta’s Cherokee Pass was our winner this afternoon with a score in Monmouth’s 6th race.  The 4-year-old son of War Pass – Casa Nekia by Conquistador Cielo was never more than a head from the lead before drawing off to win by three lengths under a drive by Trevor McCarthy.  

Cherokee Pass was claimed from the race by Andrew Sully and is now in the barn of trainer Patricia Farrow.  Good luck to his new connections.
