Colonia Wins Grade 3 Pin Oak Valley View

Apart from the fact it’s always good to win a Graded Stake it’s also good to win the race sponsored by our long time owner Mrs. Josephine Abercrombie of Pin Oak Stud in Kentucky.   We’ve done it before and did it again today with Colonia.  An import from France earlier in the year she’s done nothing wrong, starting off her US campaign by winning the Hatoof Stakes at Arlington, scratch the Del Mar Oaks and then last time out was third in the Grade Two Sands Point.  Joe Bravo has a good rapport with her and he really had to spot his way through the field today to get the win  It reminded me of when you are in a hurry and there’s a crowd in front of you and you have to wind your way through and around everyone the best way you can to get there first!    Lucky she’s small and maneuverable.  Congratulations to Madaket Stables LLC, Built To Win, Maurice Legasse and Haras d’Etreham (who is part breeder).
