on her third try. The first two tries yielded seconds – really good seconds (except for the first one she was disqualified)! but today on the slop she did it! This was her third running surface in as many starts; polytrack, turf and dirt. Even though there were a few scratches it was still a seven horse field. She started favourite and didn’t disappoint. I think I saw Mr. Strawbridge there and if so that was wonderful that he was there for her first win. Congratulations to him.{jcomments on}
