First time out, third over 5-1/2 furlongs on the turf.  Not too shabby you’d think, but she bettered that with a win over a mile on the dirt next time.  She bettered it big time today with a good win in the Darley Alcibiades (Grade 1) at Keeneland.  We are so delighted for Phyllis Wyeth, as being the owner not just of this filly but her sire Union Rags who’s two year old progeny have really stamped themselves this year.  Congratulations for this ‘true blue’ MD bred filly!

This race is also a ‘Win And You’re In’ to the Breeders Cup Juvenile Fillies.

Footnote:  Angel Cruz who rode her in her last two races of course got the mount today but had to drive from Maryland to Kentucky!  The biggest win of his career so far so that was wonderful for him too.
