Making her first start for Graham today, ITALIAN SOIREE was returning to action after a six-month layoff. She is already a graded stakes winner, scoring last July 11 in the Coronation Cup Stakes-G3 at Saratoga. Today’s outing was a 5 1/2 furlong sprint on the grass at Laurel Park. Mychel Sanchez gave us our second win on the card.

“Italian Soiree saved ground on the turn, worked outside at the head of the stretch, swept to command near the eighth pole and drew clear under brisk urging.”

Repole Stable bred this 4-year-old filly by Uncle Mo out of Social Call, by Smart Strike. She was a $600,000 purchase by Hit The Bid Stables from the 2024 OBS March Sale of Two-Year-Olds in Training. Today marked her third career win, increasing her earnings to $283,648.

Congrats to her connections on a successful return to the races!
