It was deja vu all over again as Amerman Racing LLC won back-to-back runnings of the Belmont Derby Invitational Stakes-G1. TEST SCORE followed stablemate Trikari to win this year’s renewal, run today at Saratoga.

Test Score has been stellar in all four of this start this year, never off the board in four stakes appearances. He was third in the Kitten’s Joy at Gulfstream on February 1, won the Transylvania Stakes-G3 at Keeneland on April 7 and then second in the American Turf Stakes-G1 at Churchill Downs on May 3. Today, he earned his own Grade 1 while unquestionably stamping himself as one of the top 3-year-old turf runners in the country.

Manny Franco, in the irons at Churchill and Keeneland, was aboard Test Score again today. The NYRA broadcasters couldn’t help but remark about Manny’s “ear to ear grin” after the race, with Maggie Wolfendale congratulating him on the obvious rapport he has developed with this very high octane colt!

Bred in Kentucky by Mrs. Jerry Amerman, Test Score is by 2010 Preakness winner Lookin At Lucky out of Joy of Learning, by Kitten’s Joy. Huge congrats to all on this fantastic win!
