Champagne Dancer was first and Meadowbound was second in their maiden race at Colonial.  Always a little awkward when both are trying to break their maidens and one has to beat the other!  Champagne Dancer won by 5 1/4 lengths while Meadowbound ran a much improved race from her previous efforts to be 1 1/2 lengths in front of the third horse.  Congratulations to winning owners Waratah Thoroughbreds in Australia. {jcomments on}
