Too Many firsts to remember! First Derby winner for Graham, first Derby winner for John Velazquez, first dirt run for Animal Kingdom, first Derby win for a horse since 1918 with only four previous starts before the big race.  We are so proud of Graham.  Not just for winning the Derby but for the poise he has shown during the run up.  Toby’s Corner who was scratched, Animal Kingdom who was an unknown on dirt although he’s trained like a bull on it since being at Churchill.  I was getting stressed just thinking about everything.  Too many congratulations to say but obviously the main ones are Team Valor for sending us their special homebred colt and of course to Graham for doing all the right things to get him to the Derby.  Wendy Wooley of EquiSport photos has sent some great photos – for this site only.  I’m going to shut up now and do my usual and cheat!  Copying the great press that is going to be written!{jcomments on}
