For Flying (BRZ) Lands in Winner’s Circle

She is undefeated in the United States, as today FOR FLYING (BRZ) made it two for two on U.S. soil. Victor Carrasco was her pilot this afternoon in an 8 1/2 furlong allowance on the turf at Colonial Downs.

Her chart notes state that she was “well placed tracking the leaders from a clear pocket down the backside, glided up to the leaders on the far turn, battled from four wide down the lane and prevalied determinedly.”

For Flying (BRZ) made her first five career starts in Brazil where she was a Grade 1 winner. She joined our Palm Meadows string in Florida on February 1 of this year. Now 4, she was bred in Brazil by Haras Old Friends Ltda. By Belmont Stakes-G1 and Breeders’ Cup Classic-G1 winner Drosselmeyer, she is out of Table Mountain (BRZ), by Elusive Quality.

Congratulations to owners Steven & Jessica Jell’s Newstead Stables LLC on today’s win!
