Grade 3 for Debbie

More than once this season Blame Debbie has been ‘blamed’ for being erratic in the stretch but today she found herself in front and had the rail to guide her around the Keeneland oval for one and a half miles.  You don’t know how these horses will deal with being in the front if they haven’t race like that before, and for such a long while, but she was in her element and was as tough as they come to fight off her competitor who was bugging her constantly up the stretch.    She is only three years old and she was running against older mares.  When she’s back at Fair Hill she’s also Sharing’s ‘room mate’ (they share bars in between their stalls)!  Well ridden by Manny Franco and many congratulations to owners Eclipse Thoroughbred Partners,  Mike Cloonan and Tim Thornton.  Tim bred her along with his friend Tony Holmes.
