She loves the longer distances and one mile and a quarter or thereabouts seems to suit her well.  Guilty Twelve did well to win today sitting behind a slow pace, which is not the easiest thing to do as when they quicken you are obviously at a disadvantage sitting way back as she was.  She came wide and really quickened down the Belmont stretch and it was a ding dong battle to the wire with the favorite.  It was too close to call with the naked eye but she got the nod on the wire.  Congratulations to Merry Fox Stables who hail from England but bred her in Kentucky.
