Happy Mesa won the Hilltop Stakes in near track record time today as the turf is fast at Pimlico. She bided her time at the back of a fast pace which played nicely into her late running style. She’s been so unlucky in her last few races with traffic trouble but it worked out today and she so well deserved it. Already a Stakes winner in Maryland as a two year old she keeping it local! Also, delighted for the owners who have had a few frustrating races to watch! Congratulations to all.
