Normally just the winners get a mention but True Valour ran a cracker today in the Grade 2 Joe Hernandez at Santa Anita to finish second over a fast run six and a half furlong trip.  He took a much longer route that the winner but that’s racing.  Happy New Year to Larry Johnson!
