Herringswell Sire Power at Northview Stallion Station

Northview Stallion Station, Maryland’s premiere breeding establishment, held it’s annual open house and stallion show on Saturday, December 10. Located not far from Fair Hill in Chesapeake City, Northview is now home to three former Herringswell runners, comprising one-third of their nine-horse roster.

IRISH WAR CRY is represented by his first crop of 2-year-olds this year, with four winners so far. The multiple graded stakes winner of $1,257,060 was the first son of leading sire Curlin to stand in the MidAtlantic region. His 2023 stud fee is $4,500.

GALAWI (IRE) stood his first season at stud this year, with first foals arriving in 2023. His impeccable pedigree – by Dubawi (IRE) out of a Group 1 winning half-sister to the phenomenal Goldikova – offers breeders top European bloodlines. He stands for $2,000 in 2023.

Northview introduced their newest stallion, Larry Johnson’s TRUE VALOUR (IRE), to the public yesterday afternoon. This son of Kodiac (GB) was a graded stakes winner in Ireland before coming to the United States midway through the 2018 racing season. He retired late this past summer with a record of 34-7-4-9 and $690,237 earned. He is being offered to breeders for $3,000 in 2023.
