Kitten’s Point back in form

After a quiet year in 2014 since being second in the Grade II Honey Fox at Gulfstream, Kitten’s Point was back to winning ways tonight in the 1 1/2 miles Astra Stakes at Santa Anita.  The is the furthest she’s run and she won concisively so perhaps this is her new distance.  Lady Of Gold ran her usual terrific race to finish third beaten just a head by the second horse.  Congratulations to George Strawbridge, Jr. for Kitten’s Point and The Elkstone Group for Lady Of Gold.
