The Grade 3 Long Island Handicap was Si Que Es Buena’s first foray into American racing this time last year. She ran a creditable fourth before going on a roll to win a couple of Stakes at Gulfstream last winter. After having time off she has come back in great form finishing fourth in the Grade 1 E.P. Taylor at Woodbine last month and with a very gutsy ride today by Joel Rosario to avoid a bottle neck she won. Congratulations to owner Takaya Shimakawa in Japan.
