Longhi Goes Back to Back at Laurel Park

LONGHI kicked off a very busy Saturday for Herringswell with a win in an 8 1/2 furlong claiming race on the Laurel Park turf today. It was deja vu all over again, as the 3-year-old son of Caravaggio duplicated his effort in his last start in the same conditions at Laurel on April 24. Jeiron Barbosa had the mount today.

This was the third win from seven career starts for Longhi, who triumphed in his debut at Colonial last July 18. A homebred for owners Wertheimer & Frere, he is out of the Equal Stripes (ARG) mare Lovely Moment (ARG).
