Main Sequence replay

That is how it appeared today when he won the Sword Dancer Stakes (Grade I) at Saratoga.  He ran the same kind of race when he won the United Nations (Grade I) a few weeks ago at Monmouth; tardy start, gradually made his way up the pack, swung wide in the stretch and just reached the wire in time!  Apparently he can’t hit the front too soon or he thinks he’s done enough so either Rajiv Maragh times it perfectly or he knows where that wire is!  Either way, congratulations to everyone involved and of course owners Flaxman Holdings Ltd.  Special mention to his groom Rafael Caraballo as Main Sequence will not take a peppermint from me unless he is present!

Below is a link to America’s Best Racing and you can see the video of the race.  If you scroll down you can see our dear Better Talk Now winning his Sword Dancer back in 2004.  A very unique race in the fact his 1/2 brother B.A. Way is running too.  Never, EVER get tired of watching Blackie powering down the stretch with Ramon.
