Without doubt he is one of the favourites in the barn. Often in the afternoon he’s looking out of his stall across the aisle, not at the horse in the stall opposite, but upwards to the open window. Many times I’ve stood beside him to see what he’s watching and there’s nothing but clouds. He’s our cloud watcher!
Today’s race was different for him as he was ridden for the first time by Edgar Prado, broke very well so he was near the lead but it didn’t faze him as he won his first Grade 2 by a couple of lengths. Congratulations to Gestut Brummerhof for their gorgeous chestnut gelding by New Approach.
