Mission Accomplished

She broke her maiden at the same track last month, and today MISSION OF JOY (ON) made it back-to-back scores with an allowance win at Tampa Bay Downs.

She was sent off as the 4/5 favorite, and the 3-year-old daughter of Kitten’s Joy and the Smart Strike mare Smart Mission ran like one. With Antonio Gallardo aboard, she coasted just off the flank of longshot A Night In Cairo, who led the field down the backside. Eventual second-place finisher Tall Girl offered a challenge around the turn but was no match. Into the stretch, Mission of Joy (ON) was a complete professional, pulling away decisively when Gallardo let her go to win by two lengths.

She was bred in Canada by Sam-Son Farm and is owned by Ryan Zabrowksi’s RyZan Sun Racing, LLC and Madaket Stables LLC. She now has two wins from just three career starts. Congrats to the ownership group on another win by this promising filly!
