Dr. Garcia called and he continues to be pleased with Blackie’s progress.  He has not refluxed in a while and they are starting to increase his feed to see how he tolerates it.  They are doing more blood work today to make sure that is still balanced.  He spoke also of release maybe next week?  It makes me breathless to think about it as we all want him back so much – especially Gala Spinaway!  He is lost without his buddy.  He still gets turned out but with a couple of the ponies now and they eat at one end and he stands at the other.  If you haven’t seen the videos of these two together you need to go to the video section of the website.  They are hilarious.  Anyway, fingers crossed and I’ll write another update later. {jcomments on}
