NAPTOWN expressed his appreciation for Laurel Park earlier today with his second consecutive win at the Maryland track. Going 8 1/2 furlongs on the turf with Jorge Ruiz in the tack, “Naptown rated along the inner rail down the backstretch and into the far turn, eased out leaving the bend, took command outside Curly Larry And Mo in upper stretch, went clear in mid-stretch then held sway under brisk urging.”

The effort was his third score from eight career starts and pushed his earnings to $111,732. Robert LaPenta’s Whitehorse Stables purchased the gelding from the 2022 Keeneland September Yearling Sale.
