The Kentucky Derby this year is not going to be the same for us at Fair Hill without Toby’s Corner.  As everyone knows by now he spent the winter here, never left to go to Florida.  He’s very much part of the family.  It’s funny as you hear all the time of horses having to be scratched before the big day but until you experience it first hand you really do not feel the emotion.  He’s back in his stall quite content, totally oblivious of the disappointment we are all feeling!  We’re not telling him today though as it’s his third birthday!  {jcomments on}
