She broke her maiden at Delaware Park as a 2-year-old on October 12, 2022, and after racing just twice in 2023, PALLOTTA SISTERS made her way back to that winner’s circle at this afternoon. It was the second start of her 4-year-old season – she was third in a Keeneland allowance on April 26.
She went a mile on the turf today with Jorge Ruiz aboard, winning comfortably by two lengths. We’ve said many times that we love seeing Jorge win on our horses. It’s a good thing we do, because he does it frequently! Jorge never fails to show them so much appreciation after pulling up, letting them know how pleased and proud of them he is for their effort. Pallotta Sisters looked tremendous galloping back, clearly knowing she’d done such a great job!
By Cairo Prince, Pallotta Sisters is out of multiple graded stakes winner Biofuel. She was bred in Kentucky by the late Gov. Brereton C. Jones, whose familiar Airdrie Stud silks she carried today. She is owned jointly by the estate of Gov. Jones, Madaket Stables LLC and Little Red Feather Racing. Cheers to the group for today’s win!
