Palotta Sisters Start to Finish at Delaware

Less than 30 minutes after Script’s Keeneland victory, PALLOTTA SISTERS broke her maiden at Delaware Park today, and she did it like a boss. The field of eleven 2-year-old fillies went 1 1/16 miles on the grass, with Victor Carrasco aboard Pallotta Sisters for the first time.

“She broke well,” Victor said, “so I let her run out of there so I could secure my position into the first turn. She relaxed around the backside and had her ears up waiting for me to say go. When they came at her, she was full of run and got it done.”

It was the third career start for the gray filly who was bred in Kentucky by Brereton C. Jones.  She is by Holy Bull Stakes-G2 and Nashua Stakes-G2 winner Cairo Prince, who stands at Governor Jones’ Airdrie Stud. Her dam, the Stormin Fever mare Biofuel, was a multiple graded stakes winner of $781,091.

Congrats to Pallotta Sisters’ ownership group of Governor Jones, Madaket Stables LLC and Little Red Feather Racing!
