Quidura Wins Valley View Stakes

Quidura (GB), owned and bred by Gestut Faerhof from Germany had won one race in that country before coming here in July.  She won her first allowance race at Belmont rather nicely so the next step was a Graded Stake.  The Pin Oak Valley View (Grade 3) is always a nice race to win not only because it’s Graded of course but is sponsored by long time owners Pin Oak Stud.  Keeneland had had quite a bit of rain but it seemed that she wouldn’t mind the ground having won on good ground before.  In a good position all the way Quidura drifted out in the stretch but was much the best and held on to win by one and a quarter lengths.
