Wertheimer and Frere’s RAFTING begins his 2016 campaign in Saturday’s Grade 3 Sam F. Davis Stakes at Tampa Bay Downs. Edgar Prado gets the call again on the chestnut son of Tapit – Paiota Falls (by Kris S.). Prado was aboard for the win in Rafting’s last start, Gulfstream Park West’s Smooth Air Stakes over the Thanksgiving weekend.
Currently ranked 11th on Steve Haskin’s Derby Dozen, Rafting broke his maiden impressively at Saratoga last September and has two wins from his four career starts.
