On rain softened ground listed as good Real Smart made her debut in the US a winning one at Belmont this afternoon. A homebred by owner Bjorn Nielsen, by Smart Strike out of a Daylami mare, she started her career in England running well until her last race last December when it was decided to see how she fared in the US.  By today’s performance, pretty well!  Congratulations to Bjorn who was on hand to greet his nice filly.
