A first time starter, at Saratoga no less, Safe With Me bided her time behind the fast pace setters in her five and a half furlong race on the turf and timed her run perfectly to win by a nose. Forest Boyce traveled there for the ride so congratulations to her and to George Strawbridge, Jr., who is also the breeder of this filly by Discreetly Mine out of Stakes placed Safe Crossing.
