After a lengthy delay during which surprisingly the waiting horses didn’t seem to get rattled, Slew’s Answer tracked a pretty fast pace on the Monmouth turf and won by a length.  This brings his win tally to three from only five runs.  The wait at the start was because a horse had to go back to the paddock for tack change or replacement or something.  I don’t know many other tracks that would take the waiting horses OUT of the gate to wait for that, ridiculous.  Thankfully he won or I would have other words!  Congratulations to Live Oak Plantation for breeding and owning him.{jcomments on}
