Strathnaver was a good winner yesterday of the Bewitched Stakes (Grade III) at Keeneland. The field was well strung out for most of the way and she had a lot of catching up to do, but do it she did to win going away. Her stable mate (also same owner) was unlucky to miss second as Strathnaver floated to the left a little in the stretch and floated Qushchi with her. Edgar Prado had to stop riding and switch course as he was taken in behind the eventual second horse. Could have made a difference. Congratulations to Andrew Stone for both of your fillies.
