After being the bridesmaid in her last two and only Stake starts Sweet Seventeen finally made it to the bride position!  She won the Busher Stakes at Aqueduct.  Congratulations to owner breeder Mrs. John Oxley.

On Friday I gave her a peppermint and was telling her to run a big race tomorrow and just five minutes later she was sprawled out asleep with hay all over her head!  Obviously taking her rest very seriously but I don’t think I’ve ever seen a horse go from awake to sound sleep that fast!{jcomments on}
