Close, but Unbridled Humor made it three for three today at Aqueduct in the Memories of Silver Stakes. Maiden, allowance and Stakes races now under her belt. She’s a typical ‘training center works better’ filly as she can be quite nervous and prefers the quieter surroundings than she would a race track. Congratulations to Live Oak Plantation.
We also had a second in the Christopher Elser Memorial Stakes at Philadelphia Park. This is a race for South Carolina residency horses, meaning they have to have spent a certain amount of days in South Carolina to qualify. As most of our babies spend time with Webb Carroll down there we have quite a few eligibilities! Rampaige is the one Graham chose. Rampaige ran once before at Keeneland winning on the polytrack so I wasn’t sure if he would prefer dirt of turf! Probably likes both being by Smart Strike out of a Wild Again mare. Well done the Johnson Brothers.{jcomments on}
