Three In A Row For Thewayiam

Versatile Thewayiam won her third race in a row – and her second consecutive Grade 3; this time the Herecomesthebride Stakes at Gulfstream Park.  This French-bred $18,600 yearling was a bargain for her original owners and has been great fun for new owners Great Point Stables, Michael Dubb, The Elkstone Group and Bethlehem Stables. She’s run five times over here in the United States, winning four of those races.

Always lovely to watch, Thewayiam benefitted yesterday from a rail-skimming trip and was able to draw off in the last furlong. Congratulations to her ownership team.

As a P.S she is also the first filly to win the three races at the Gulfstream meet, Ginger Brew, Sweetest Chant (Grade 3) and the Herecomesthebride (Grade 3).
