They were Meistersinger at Delaware and Walk Softly and Hollopenny at Presque Isle Downs.  The fillies at Presque Isle dictated the pace in their races and were never headed.  Walk Softly in particular was pretty impressive as she seemed to put away the opposition with ease and still full or running.  Meistersinger at Delaware won by an impressive 10 lengths!  Congratulations to Team Valor International for Meistersinger, Ken Tomlinson for Walk Softly and Bushwood Stables for Hollopenny.

I had to laugh at Sillium at Philadelphia.  He didn’t win as he is rather one paced but he was still competitive.  He was running up the stretch behind the first three and another horse came to him and you could see him racing it to the wire!  Unfortunately he was out-duelled a head.{jcomments on}
