This week we feature our grand elder statesman, Gala Spinaway.  This photo was taken around 1996 (we believe) and shows him competing in combined training with Rumsey Keefe, wife of trainer Tim Keefe.  Gala is now 26 and lives at Fair Hill with his partner in crime, Better Talk Now who – incredibly – is 15 this year!  Time really flies.
