Tin Type Gal wins Mills Grillo (Grade III)

In just her third start Tin Type Gal stepped up in a tough fought race to win the Miss Grillo Stakes (Grade III) at Belmont.  With the inside horse not making it easy for her she dug in to the wire.  Congratulations to My Meadowview Farm LLC who owned and bred this filly by Tapit out of Miss Shop, who herself was a multiple Graded Stakes winning mare.  I still find it odd that only a few months ago she came in to the barn as “Miss Shop” filly and now she’s a Graded Stakes winner!  This race was also a “Win And You’re In’ race.
