Trikari Gets First Stakes Win in Rushaway

In just his fourth start, Amerman Racing LLC’s TRIKARI earned his first black type in the Rushaway Stakes at Turfway Park on Saturday, March 23. This was the second win for the 3-year-old son of Mill Ridge Farm’s hot sire Oscar Performance; he broke his maiden at Gulfstream Park on December 28, 2023. Stepping up into optional allowance company for his next outing on February 10 of this year, he was second by a neck.

We’ve received quite a few congratulatory notes and comments, and all agree that this very talented colt has shown a great deal of maturity and grit in his young career. He just digs down, finds more and battles to the wire. Umberto Rispoli was aboard for yesterday’s winning effort.

As mentioned previously, Trikari is out of the graded stakes winning mare Dynamic Holiday (Harlan’s Holiday – Dynamic Cat, by Dynaformer). Bred and owned by George Strawbridge, Jr.’s Augustin Stable, she was trained by Graham throughout her racing career.

Trikari – who in fact looks a great deal like his dam! – was bred in Kentucky by Michael A. Slezak and Amy Boll. Congratulations to them and to Amerman Racing LLC on this great win yesterday!
